Welome to my page,
I'm aiming to raise £250 for MENmatter by shaving my afro off. I've been growing it for three years, but this cause is worthy of the sacrifice :)
MENmatter is a newly set up mens mental health support network who are aiming to put stereotypes and stigma aside, and encourage men to feel comfortable talking about their feelings and challenges.
MENmatter was set up by a group of individuals who had all either experienced or been exposed to mental health difficulties, and saw the benefits gained by opening up and discussing things.

6 years agoCurrent hair status: Ｎｅａｎｄｅｒｔｈａｌ Just over two weeks until i get the lot cut off to raise awareness for mens mental health and wellbeing with #MENmatter. A great cause, and one we all need to be aware of and be able to talk about. There's still plenty of time to drop a couple of quid in to help us reach our target, but more importantly to help spread the message for the cause. #ItsOKToNotBeOk #LetsTalkAboutMentalHealth #StopTheStigma

Just a quick update for everyone: - The date that I'm going to get sheered is now confirmed as 31st of August (four weeks tomorrow) at 1900. - I can also announce that it'll be live streamed on Facebook and on Instagram so you can all watch and laugh at my suffering!
