Did you know there is not a mosque within 15 miles of Hayling Island? There are more than 500 practising Muslims on the island and that number is growing monthly, yet nowhere for them to pray without having to travel to Portsmouth.

So, I have been charged with trying to remedy that. The Muslim Council of Britain has already purchased a property in the West Town area for this building, but we are now counting on Muslims and non-Muslims to help fund the building work. Already we have more than £100,000 donated, but we need £50,000 more to complete the project. So please donate as much or as little as you can, so Hayling Island can be at the forefront of building bridges between ALL religions.
