I'm raising as much as I can for the brilliant “In My Wildest” charity that is close to home. It was started by Shaun Barnard and my brother Leigh (Shaun’s best friend) has since become a trustee within the charity.

Here is the story from Shaun:

[ Meet my mum, Elaine. Back in March 2017, on Mothers Day, we were talking about taking a trip to Iceland to give her something to look forward to. However, due to high insurance costs and being stage 4 cancer, we decided to wait until she was better. Sadly, 6 weeks later at the age of 49, she passed away and this day didn't come.

In My Wildest, established in 2023, stems from the shared passion for travel and a profound commitment to easing financial burdens to those living with cancer. We dedicate ourselves to providing essential travel insurance funding for those navigating the challenges of cancer. Our story is one of compassion, united by the belief that everyone should have the opportunity to explore, even in the face of adversity. ]

My beautiful Mum Beverley lost her battle in January 2025 to terminal cancer. A few days before she passed she expressed that she wanted to donate to this charity that Leigh is a part of. All funds raised will go to In My Wildest.
