Rett syndrome is a rare genetic disorder that affects brain development and causes severe physical and mental disability from early childhood.

Julia is 4,5 years old and is still in good shape because of her wonderful mum (and my friend) who noticed very quickly that Julia was not developing as she should. She started to fight for Julia’s health from the very beginning – hundreds of different examinations, classes with a speech therapist, physiotherapy, special diet and so on… all of that cost a lot.

There is one more examination that Julia has to go through on 17th July and it costs £175 (+5% and payment processing fees for JustGiving).

This will show what’s the real condition of Julia’s body and indicate allergies or heavy metal poisoning. All of that will help us to understand what is going on with her little body and act. All we want is to stop or at least slow down disease progression.
