Hi and thanks for looking me up. Everyone that knows me, knows that I hate Christmas, the original "Bah Humbug" am I!
In view of the above and to try and break my mould, this year I have decided to try and recapture some of the original spirit and intent of the season by doing something positive and giving. I have lived with MND for 6 years now and of course there are lots of sad and upsetting things to say about the disease. However, there have been many positives for me as well over the years and being involved with the MNDA and meeting many selfless, lovely people is one of them.
The MNDA is a very under funded charity and it does so much good work and offers much needed support to so many touched by the disease. I have therefore decided to give a bit back to them over this festive period and I would very much appreciate and value your help with this. If you are considering giving me a Christmas gift, could I please ask that you donate to the MNDA using this site instead. There is really nothing that would give me more pleasure this Christmas than to know that I can give a little back to a charity that means so much to me.
