Weʼve raised £700 to Happier Days for Strays, I'm doing the Great North Run! A local charity that helps keep animals in our community safe and loved! X

    Story

    Hi all animal lovers!

Please sponsor my madness in doing the Great North Run this coming Sunday, I know it's last min but please dig deep and help out this wonderful charity! They do such a good job in Sunderland and have helped so many animals and owners! There are over 13k members of this charity so imagine how many animals we could help if everyone merely sponsored one pound?! Iv paid 50 pound for my place so come on guys donate!!

I'm running in honour of all the dogs iv fostered in the including the lovely Pepsi (was Penny) rescued by the wonderful Denise Langham through this great charity and mt own little rescue Pippa and my baby girl Milly whippets.

This is a last min decision to run the Great North Run 13.1 miles! This is a massive goal for me with only 2 days training before the day so I may not run that fast but ill give it a damn good go!

I am a gym goer so Im sure I'll get round but it's going to be tough considering Iv not been in the gym for 3 weeks, Iv not actually ran for about a year and I found it hard enough doing the great north run in the past even with training. I have very bad asthma, currently nursing a chest infection with steroids and antibiotics so Sunday is going to be tough! Please donate!!!

Iv set the target for 500 but if we get even more that would be great!!! Thank you so much. Julie xx
