So maybe not as daring as my sky dive last year... I am going to participate in a sponsored open water swim in Loch Lomond in Scotland on Saturday 23rd August.

This year I would like to raise money for a local charity called BOSOM FAMILY SUPPORT. So the group can continue supporting women and their families; who have being diagnosed and living with breast cancer.

The group is increasing as more women are diagnosed every day with breast cancer within our local area. The group was set up by Jo Sowerby after she was diagnosed herself, her own experiences living through cancer inspired her to set up a group to support other women and their families. Thus group has now many members and has many inspirational women who are providing support to each other and new women and their families.

I would love to raise some money for this charity, so that this group can continue and dreams can be fulfilled for the future. We never know what any of our own futures hold and with knowing Jo and some of the ladies I have seen the true benefits and support these smaller local charities can offer.

So no matter how small the amount, every penny will make a difference.
