Josh Catterall was a young, local lad who sadly passed away last year aged 20. He left behind his family but also his little girl and his partner who was also pregnant with his second child.

On 8th July i will be taking part in my first ever fight during a memorial boxing night set up in Josh's memory by Jody Meikle.

I have never done anything like this before but I will be training with others ill be training until July 8th to get in shape and get fit ready for the fight.
I will be trying to raise as much as possible, so please give generously for this great cause.
I didn't know Josh but I know how tough it is to lose somebody suddenly.

I've always liked watching boxing but i have never tried before so I have loads to learn with only 8 weeks training.

Raising the money for Josh's children is a great cause and every single penny raised will be going straight to Josh's children.

It will be a great event with the children and families in the forefront of our minds.
