Im February we were unfortunate to have had to join a journey no child of parent should have to face. My son was diagnosed with acute lymphatic leukemia at Noahs Ark hospital in Cardiff and began a 3 and a half yr road of treatment. This has been life changing in so many ways. The first 2 months were extremely difficult and mostly spent as an inpatient at rainbow ward in Noahs Ark heath Hospital. There were some very dark times in thise months for myself, my son and other parents and children being treated. With the help and support from workers at LATCH im not sure how I would have got through. They not only provide distraction and happiness for children on this journey but also support and love for parents when they most need it.
On 29th july I will taking part in a sponsored walk to raise money for this amazing cause and to give back a little of the love provided at such a difficult time.
