My beautiful life long friend Paula is recovering from breast cancer. I know she's had a really bad time of it (in more ways than one) and yet she still manages to keep a smile on her face. I want to raise money for her chosen charity 'Hint of Pink' who are trying to purchase a tissue imaging machine for theatre which will be a great time saver for patients on the operating table (£60k). This charity sits within our local Hospitals Blue Skies Charity.

In January of this year I started running. Previously I couldn't even run to the end of my road. Thanks to Coach Bob Hudson (The Monday Night Cake/Running Club) I was inspired to start running. I can now run 7K (4.5 miles) but I would like to take part in the 10k Windmill run and raise money for Paula's charity. I think with more training, this is achievable and I'm going to give it my all.

Please help me to achieve my goal of £500.
