Hollie and I hope to travel to Ritchie during October half term. We will be staying with a local family who have kindly offered us accommodation. Ritchie's main source of employment was the Kimberely Diamond mine which is no longer open causing much hardship and unemployment in the local area. We will be volunteer at the towns soup kitchen, helping in the local school which has a small classroom built by our church for children with additional needs ,the  teachers volunteer their time there so we will be an extra pair of  hands to help. We will also be helping with the local youth group and running a youth Alpha course all over 10 days.

So we need to raise  funds for our airfare which will mean we can join the team going form our Church. We are hoping to make friends, help families and share an amazing opportunity together.
