My name is Rose Brown and I am 22 years old. When I was aged 12 I was hit by a drunk driver and left with an acquired brain injury. My recovery has been a very long process when i started getting better I could not communicate as I can no longer talk. Find A voice was a great help in directing me and my family to the right places to help me find a voice again. I now use a voca machine which i use head switches to select words and talk with. I would like to give back to find a voice so they can help more people who need help to find there voices.

Also before the accident I loved horses and started horse riding. I can no longer at the moment so I would like to also help horses that need to be looked after

As explained I was hit by a drunk driver and left in a wheelchair. All my therapies are on going and I have been working hard to ride a bike. I aim to do a bike ride of 10 miles over 7 weeks. I manage just under 2 miles a week and Im going to work hard to achieve my goal. I aim to start this in January and i attend gym every Monday so I will post an update at the end of every session to show you all how well I am doing.

I will also post a video of me doing this so you can all see just how much hard work and effort this is for me. I feel with all the help and support I have received in my recovery I feel I would like to give something back and have decided this is how Id like to do this.
