Story

Many of you will know I have am in the process of recovery from oesophageal cancer. It came as quite a shock and it wasn't something I hadn't any knowledge of at all, absolutely nothing.

As you can imagine I have learnt a lot since the day I was diagnosed 18 months ago. After surviving painful chemotherapy, invasive radiotherapy, losing my hair, wearing a wig ,not wearing a wig, facing the public, facing my family and getting used to a whole new lifestyle has been rather traumatic journey so far.

However I'm one of the lucky ones and I am still here to carry on. So with this fundraising appeal I would like the opportunity for two people to be able to have a simple and easy test to diagnose the disease. It costs around £100 per patient.

The £50 is to keep our GUTSY CLUB going. It's only a little group but the information and support that I've received from the organisers and from other cancer patients with the same condition has been priceless.

I truly, truly cannot thank them enough and £50 would make a difference to them. Its not always about the big things, it's sometimes just that kind word that goes the furthest... so hopefully you will be happy to help me.

SO>> HERE GOES... this might not be a marathon or mud run, but for me its a big deal !!

I am taking part in the RELAY FOR LIFE RAMBLE on Sat morning. Hopefully to complete a 3K walk. Really blessed that my family and friends will be doing it with me too.

I won't ask per K, in case I don't get that far..lol... but it you do have a spare 50p that would be FABULOUS and EVERY PENNY HELPS.

THANK YOU SOOOOOOOO MUCH xXxXxXx
