Story
It is with very great sadness to report the death of Juliet Alder. Juliet was the first member of staff from West London Mental Health Trust to die from Covid-19. She fought bravely but finally lost her life on 14th April 2020 aged 58.
Juliet dedicated much of her working life to the NHS. She joined the Trust in 2016 as a much valued healthcare assistant, delivering excellent care to acute patients on Askew Ward, as well as others across the Trust. In her final weeks at the Trust, she moved to older people’s mental health, working on Meridian Ward in Hammersmith & Fulham.
Juliet was a kind, caring and thoughtful colleague. She was compassionate to patients, colleagues and carers and maternal towards those who came in contact with her. Juliet had a beaming smile and an infectious laughter, and took great pride in looking after others. She’ll be missed by all.”
Our thoughts and sympathies are with her husband Emmanuel and daughters Dumni and Victoria as well as all her friends and colleagues within the Trust.
Let’s please raise some money to show our appreciation of her dedication and hard work and support her family at this sad time.
