I'm raising £750 for a health/medical cause. In April 2025 I am travelling with my good friend and fellow midwife, Sophie, to the Kasese region of Uganda. We have been asked to help by local concerned churches as they have seen a lot of young women lose their lives in childbirth. We are to try to find the cause, and see if we can find a way to reduce the risks. This is a scoping visit, we hope to put together a sustainable plan to help them plan for the future.
