Story

Meet Barsan.
Four years ago, when he was just a little 13 year old boy his entire family and neighbourhood were captured by ISIS. He has not seen his two baby brothers, two baby sisters nor his Mum or Dad since that day. They are assumed still held captive or worse.
13 year old Barsan refused to fight with ISIS so they chopped off his right arm and maimed his left, rendering it useless.
Later, during captivity in Syria his left leg was very badly injured in an explosion. It was so crudely operated on by a member of ISIS that it's also near useless and excruciatingly painful.
Why was he kept alive? This boy was a commodity - ok, so he didn't fight but maybe he dug tunnels, ran errands, was used as a sheild or for entertainment, but ultimately he generated an income when he was eventually bought by an uncle who literally begged and borrowed the 9000$.
What can we do? We can undo the damage to his left arm by paying for surgery so that this bright, courageous, optimistic young man can at least feed and dress himself and begin to live with dignity....as much as a human can in a refugee camp☹
Would you like to help him? Can you spare some money for him?
