I've raised £1000 to help children in Sheffield attend sports camps once lockdown restrictions are eased.

As children spend more time at home, away from their friends and with limited opportunities to exert energy, it is so important that children have a safe space to play once lockdown restrictions are eased. Physical, mental and social well-being are so important for all of us but I know first hand how lockdown has affected my children during this difficult time. We need to support our children even more once lockdown is eased and sport and physical activity can play a huge role in doing this.
I want to raise money to support more children access sports camps delivered by Sheffield United Community Foundation (charity no. 1126620) once they start again. Camps are a great way for children to meet their friends, old and new, have fun and learn new skills. Let’s help more children to attend them when we get through this!
