A BIT ABOUT US AND WHY WE ARE ASKING FOR YOUR SUPPORT.
38th Corby Guides are a group of 28 girls aged 10 - 14 years old. Our team is built up of 3 Adult Guide Leaders and 2 Unit Helpers. We are all volunteers and we are based in Corby, Northamptonshire.
We are self funded, so the budget is quite tight.
This still doesnt stop us wanting our girls to experience as much as possible in the time that they will spend with us.
We are currently looking at different way to raise funds to purchase some tents and camping equipment. We really want our girls to experience the outdoors away from the TV and the electronics and teach them some lifelong skills.
A couple of us leaders are quite excited as we have booked to take our girls away for a fun packed long weekend of camping, activities, wellies and some shows in the summer holidays but the distance that we are travelling the coaches are coming in quite expensive.
So in effect, we are also hoping to raise enough funds to help us cover this as well and take some of the financial outlay away from the parents.

So please if you can help, it doesn't matter how much the donation is to us as every little bit will help.
