What is Junior Doctors' Alliance?
We are a grassroots group of frontline NHS junior doctors, who want the public to hear the truth about what is happening in the NHS. We don't have another agenda. We are doctors who care about what's best for our patients. That's it.
We employed a team of media experts for our successful launch of JDA. Having built a media profile during our launch, we have moved on to phase 2 of our campaign, and are now employing one communications expert on a constant, and long-term basis.
What do we want to achieve?
• We want a big national conversation about the future of the NHS.
We are committed to telling the whole truth to the British people about what is happening.
• We want to help doctors speak out
If we don't have this national conversation now and get politicians of all parties to listen to NHS patients and staff, we are heading for a two-tier health system, with patients being asked to pay to use parts of the NHS.
• We want to see big changes in how the NHS is run.
We believe that through a national conversation we can bring about the changes necessary to re-establish the NHS as the best health care system in the world, one that is publicly owned and provided and truly run in the interests of patients.
The JDA will work with anyone who will work with us and won't stop until the truth is heard about what is happening in the NHS.
What we have achieved so far:
We have raised issues through significant media coverage, including:
BBC television and radio; Victoria Derbyshire (27th Sept, 4th Oct), BBC radio newsbeat, Sky News 27th Sept, 4th & 28th Oct
The Guardian, Independent, Times, Telegraph, Mirror, Pulse Online and others.
This project can only continue with the generous support of donors.
We're so grateful for any donation you make.
Thank you.

Nurses will have their bursaries stopped in 2017, this will lead to less people going to nursing school and a dramatic shortage in nurses. Please highlight this important issue in your PR campaign.

Junior Doctors' Alliance
What is JDA? On its current path we believe that the NHS as we know it will be destroyed and that as a result it will be patients who will suffer. We want the public to know what is happening to their NHS so that together, we can begin addressing the huge challenges it faces.
