My sister Gemma will be running the Swindon Half Marathon on the 9th September to help raise money for Alternative Angels.
Alternative Angels are a local charity who help feed the homeless. Each week the volunteers distribute hot food and drinks to the homeless whilst providing a friendly face and someone to talk to.
Alternative Angels has been running for 2 years now and in that time they have reached out to many of the homeless people in Swindon.
Alternative Angels rely solely on donations and often use their own money to buy their supplies.
In order to continue to support the homeless the Angels rely on donations to help buy the food and drink they supply.
Alternative Angels would appreciate any donations to help their cause and to be able to continue to help the homeless.
