I've raised £500 to help fund the Somalia & Yemen crisis in the loving memory of Shukri Abdi.

I am raising money to fund the Somalia & Yemen crisis in the loving memory of Shukri Abdi.
In June 2019, the body of 12-year-old Somalian refugee schoolgirl, Shukri Abdi was found in the River Irwell in Bury. A group of children were with her at the river during the period when she had drowned.
Greater Manchester police initially did not treat the death as suspicious, but Shukri’s family called for further investigation into her death, arguing that Shukri had been bullied for over a year and accusing both the school and the police of dismissing their concerns.
I am raising awareness about Shukri Abdi case and if she does not have justice in this life for her death, then she will have justice on the day of judgement.
My intention at the start was to build a mosque in the memory of Shukri Abdi, however with the current crisis and COVID-19, your donations are a greater reward to funding health care, food, shelter for children and families.
In Somalia, 6.7 million people are in need of urgent humanitarian assistance, including more than 350,000 malnourished children under the age of five. The crisis in Somalia is the result of prolonged drought, violence and insecurity.
Yemen is the largest humanitarian crisis in the world, with more than 24 million people – some 80 per cent of the population – in need of humanitarian assistance, including more than 12 million children. Since the conflict escalated in March 2015, the country has become a living hell for the country’s children.
Your kind donations will save lives.
If you are not able to donate please make prayer for Shukri Abdi and the people that are suffering in Somalia and Yemen.
Jazak'allah💗
