This is Taz, my neighbour's Alsatian and Collie cross.

Taz was hit by a speeding motorist driving on the wrong side of the road in Keynsham, on Friday 26th January.

Taz was dragged 12 metres under the car before the driver stopped.

The dog has been left with a dislocated hip, a ripped tail and road burns to his face and body.

The vets’ bill has run to almost £2,000 after the poor dog’s wounds became septic.

I think the owner has been unfairly burdened with the cost of Taz's treatment and I hope others will feel the same way.
