This summer Just Love Oxford are fundraising for Tearfund's Middle East Crisis Appeal.

The distance from Oxford to Beirut in Lebanon is approximately 3,526Km, our community will be doing various forms of exercise to see how much of the distance to Beirut we can cover as group. we'll be asking people to sponsor us with the goal of raising £3,526 by the start of August 2026.

Tearfund's Work:

- In Lebanon, our church partners are supporting people who have fled their homes, providing hygiene kits, hot meals, and cold weather kits, and also supporting people with disabilities.

- In Gaza, Tearfund’s partner, Anera, is running emergency health clinics and delivering life-saving medical supplies, food and water to tens of thousands of people.

- In the West Bank, we are providing emergency funding to local hospitals, and distributing food and essential supplies to those affected by the violence.
