Story

Alice, Laura, Cheyenne and I have decided to climb Mount Snowdon.

We want to raise money for
Cancer and Alzheimer's.

Two things that are close to our hearts. Some of the strongest and most kind, supportive and loving people we know have lost their lives to Cancer. My son's beloved godmother and the lady with the biggest heart I've ever known- Shelagh and our exceptional grandfather Alan. Few are lucky enough to survive cancer and many others go through treatment and fight so hard until the very end. To be able to donate to a charity that can help in so many ways would be so special to us.

Alzheimer's is very close to my heart. In my job I've seen how many people have been affected and see the condition slowly rob people of their memory and the person they have always been.
The condition can also take it's toll on those around them.

My godmother's father Ken was a wonderful man. Seeing the care that the family gave him was wonderful and they dealt with it all with such strength and positivity. The times where a rare joke would be made and a witty comeback from Ken would make them all laugh and momentarily enjoy the person they knew so well. Being able to support a charity dedicated to helping those with Dementia is an honour to be able to do.

Now you know our story and how much it all means to us.

We would love you to be able to donate to our cause. No matter how small, that little bit is a step to reaching our goal and spurring us on to get to the top of that mountain.
Thank you
Kirsty, Alice, Cheyenne and Laura
