We are heartbroken by the loss of our friend and colleague, Gary Marsh—a dedicated police officer who truly embodied the very best qualities of his profession. His close friends tell me:

“He was the epitome of what you would expect from a police officer and wish for in a friend. If ever I had an issue or problem, he would drop everything just to listen and talk through things. He always put others first and never asked for anything in return.”

For those who knew Gary, he was more than just a colleague. He was a true friend who was always ready to support his colleagues, offering unwavering friendship and guidance. His generosity, kindness, sense of humour, and strong sense of duty left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be truly missed by those who had the honour of working with him.

Gary leaves behind his loving wife, Natasha, and their two young daughters, aged 9 and 11. During this incredibly difficult time, we are committed to supporting his family.
