From Monday 5th June 2023, I’ll be climbing up Mount Kilimanjaro with a few friends. It's the highest mountain in Africa and the highest free-standing mountain in the world at 5,895 metres!

Why have I decided to climb?

It’s always been on my bucket list. Likewise for my dearest friend Kunal Patel and we wanted to climb together, but he sadly passed away last year. So now’s the time for me to keep the fire burning.

I’m taking this opportunity to fundraise for a great cause.

In Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, the city I was born in, there’s a shelter for children, women & youth living in crisis, run by someone I know. The shelter doesn’t yet have social media but I've included a photo I can share to give you an idea of the scale of how many people are being cared for.
