Story

Thank you for taking the time to read my Page. I am attempting to walk The Pacific Crest Trail that spans 2,650 miles (4,265 kilometers) from Mexico to Canada through California, Oregon, and Washington. The aim is to raise as much money as possible for K9 Heroes. K9 Heroes supports dogs from the Armed Forces, Police, UK Border Force, Fire and Rescue, Mountain Rescue, Search and Rescue and any other British organisation which enlists service dogs. Dogs that have been retired due to injury or illness need on going support which this charity provides. It's a cause very close to my heart having been a dog handler for many years in the British Police force. I know first hand the support that service dogs provide in times of need.
The walk is predicted to take 4-6 months (Weather dependant) and I aim to walk on average 21 miles a day.
This is completely funded by myself. All money raised will be donated to k9 Heroes. It is a non-profit. Non salaried Charity.
