I am raising funds for The Kachin Relief Fund-UK , which is appealing emergency aids for Kachin Internally Displaced People of Northern Burma. In recent weeks, over 5000 people, mostly women and children had fled their home due to indiscriminate attack from the Burma Army. They are in urgent need of foods, clean water, shelter and medical care after arriving exhausted and traumatised from fleeing. Some are still hiding in the jungle and have been trapped due to the Burma Army blocking access by the local churches and community elders. With more funds, the Kachin Relief Fund can immediately and directly respond to the growing needs of the people who have fled into local churches with nothing, as well as help the overstretched communities hosting them.
