Story
Newport Pagnell Town Football Club is heartbroken to share that our First Team Goalkeeper has suffered a serious injury during a recent match against March Town United. Following thorough medical assessment, it has been confirmed that he has a broken jaw in three places. He is currently receiving the necessary care and treatment, and his recovery will begin away from the pitch.
Due to the nature of this injury, he will be unable to work for some time and will miss out on earning additional income from playing football. This situation not only affects him personally but also impacts our entire club community — players, management, staff, volunteers, and supporters alike are deeply concerned for his well-being.
We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to the medical staff who provided immediate assistance on the day of the incident. Their professionalism and support have been invaluable during this challenging time. We have also received an outpouring of messages filled with concern and well wishes from across the football community, which has truly uplifted our spirits.
As we rally around our teammate in his time of need, we are launching this fundraising campaign with a target of £1,500 to help support him through his recovery journey. Your contributions will ensure that he can focus solely on healing without the added stress of financial burdens.
We invite you to join us in showing your support for him during this difficult period. Together, we can make a difference and help him return stronger than ever. Thank you for your kindness and generosity as we look forward to welcoming him back when the time is right.
