Kalap is a village ~200 kms from Dehradun in the Tons River Valley. It houses a small community of about 500 people and is one of the ‘most remote places’ in India.

In terms of development indicators, the village ranks almost zero on all parameters. The biggest crisis is a lack of any public health infrastructure. The nearest public health facility is almost 200kms away Nutritional deficiencies and tuberculosis are the two major health issues that requires consistent intervention.

Kalap Trust a non profit organisation is setting up a public health centre to cater to these health needs of the village by 2017. I will be extremely grateful if you can support Kalap Trust to achieve and sustain this vision.
