After much wasted effort trying to find existing charities and donors, my friend and I have found no help. He lives in a poor part of Uganda and takes in children who have been left for dead and/or given up by their families as they cannot afford to feed them. He has no support from outside sources, and after becoming completely deflated after trying to help him, I have decided to try and raise funds privately to send him to enable him to buy food and medicine for the kids he is trying to help out of nothing other than pure compassion and love for his fellow man.

They have very recently lost a child to Malaria, and I have now been able to connect him with somebody on the other side of the country who can deliver products in order to decontaminate the dirty water they travel miles each day to collect.

Any donation would be so well appreciated as we are operating on absolute minimal costs, just to transport fairly cheap products and donations for the children, who are currently surviving on very little.

If you can help in any way at all, even if you - like me - are very skeptical of many organised charities after recent events, please be assured any money raised here will go directly to the Orphanage.

I will set up a facebook 'progress' page so that we can all see exactly where the money is going to help them.

Water purification is first, but anything extra will be spent on basic survival needs such as food and clothing.
