Kalpesh Patel, Aged 36yrs. A husband, a father of two young boys aged 3yrs and 5yrs. A son, a brother and friend to many. He was diagnosed with throat cancer a few months ago. Doctors tried everything they could including under going a major operation and having chemotherapy. After a very difficult and painful few months, he decided that he couldn't take the pain and suffering any longer. He sadly passed away on Monday 1st May 2018. He was a fun loving, caring, mischievous person and will be remembered fondly by those who knew him.
In honour of his memory the family wish to raise and donate money to a charity that was very dear to him called The Dru Foundation Navsari India.

Dru Foundation Mission:

To serve the poor and deprived section of society, providing them the basic amenities like healthcare, education, food and shelter that equip individuals to become an equal partner in the progress of the nation, and by helping the sufferers of natural calamities to move towards a world free from hunger, ignorance, deprivation and exploitation.

The Dru Foundation have organized the following activities:
•72 medical camps
•Treated a total of 33312 patients
•Performed a total of 2230 cataract operations
•Distributed over 7330 pairs of free prescription spectacles
•10,500 children were provided with free education kits so they could attend school
•About 72 students and nurses are adopted for their education fees for year 2017
•Every year about 3,600 benefited from the food distribution project
•Every year about 2,000 benefited from the clothing distribution project
•Provided assistance for students with education and nursing training
•Distributed fresh food to underprivileged patients twice a month
•Provided treatment for underprivileged patients
•Provided X-ray, Sonography & Medical Laboratory Tests
•Giving relief to patient in their hospital bills
•Giving relief to Dialysis patients to their treatment
