Story
We are three artist - iconographers working predominantly in Byzantine Stile. It is challenging to practice traditional arts as living skills that can be applied in contemporary life and spirituality. It is said that the icon doesn't represent anything, it rather reveals something. Icons are windows into heaven. Iconography originated in the earliest days of the Christianity and play a very important role in history of Art and now we have the opportunity to show the beauty of Icons in two exhibitions - at Manchester Cathedral and BCI London. Unfortunately we find it very difficult to find funding and we need help with some of the activities we can not afford. We are trying to raise money to fund mainly the transportation of the icons during the two exhibitions and the curating. Every help will be really appreciated and everybody is invited. THANK YOU in anticipation!
Manchester Cathedral - 21st till 30th of November
BCL London - 6th till 30th of Decmber
(The posters will be attached later this month)
