I've raised £1000 to help support the care of the children living in "Window of Life Babies Home" in Uganda.

8 years ago my best friend Marta took on an incredible challenge of setting up a children's charity in Uganda. Together with an Ugandan couple they have created a project today known as 'Window of Life Babies Home' . The main purpose of this Ugandan-Polish initiative is to take care of abandoned, orphaned and vulnerable children in the Masindi District. Apart from the children living at home, Window of Life also support other vulnerable children within the community. Love, safety and education are the key values of this ever growing family.
Over the years I've supported this amazing charity by helping with translating newsletters from 'Babies Home' as well as making small monthly donations. It never felt like I was doing enough. I always wanted to meet all the children personally and this dream of mine is about to come true!! 🙂
I will be going to Uganda early next year for a few months to volunteer at this incredible charity. I am bursting with excitement! I will share my journey with you in a blog.
Over the next couple of months I will be running a few races to fundraise the money for the 'Window of Life' children. I hope I can count on your support!
A £1000 which I am aiming to raise will cover monthly cost of running 'Babies Home' including food for 20 children living in the house, school expenses and staff salaries.
Thank you very much to everyone who will be willing to sponsor me and support this amazing cause.
