Nottingham Synchronised Skating Academy's youngest Ice Gems team member Ellie is raising funds for her team by running the Robin Hood Mini Marathon. The team had a successful competition season 22-23, with Gold in London, Silver in Dumfries, Silver in Sheffield and Bronze at the British Championship Britannia Cup. They work extremely hard, often at the rink before 6am, with on ice and off ice training as well as Ballet. All the girls are lovely and so supportive of each other, which is amazing to see. They are hoping to keep progressing their skills and scores during season 23-24. With an exciting, vibrant and quick paced new routine, their coaches are doing all they can to assist. (New costumes too!) Competition costs are mounting in the current climate however, and any money raised will go directly to the team to support with travel, meals and subsidiary costs whilst there. Ellie is 9 years old and started skating after lockdown in May 2021. She would be very grateful if you felt able to sponsor her efforts.
