In celebration of the 100th Year of the Royal Air Force; I will be walking from Fradley Junction, Burton on Trent to the world famous Pontcysyttle Aqueduct, near Llangollen, a distance of 100 miles, between the 4th and 7th of September to raise funds for 1119 (Shrewsbury) Squadron Air Cadets.
"Success Through Dedication!!!”
The walk starts at the Swan Inn at Fradley Junction on 4th September. It follows the Trent and Mersey Canal through Rugeley and the surrounding areas up to the canal town of Stone where I will spend my first night at the Stone House hotel. This is a total of 22 miles on day 1.
On day 2 I will be walking from Stone to the village of Church Minshall, Nantwich on the Shropshire Union canal. The walk starts along the Trent and Mersey canal, through the town of Stoke on Trent to the 2926 yard long Harecastle Tunnel.
