When I started Powerlifting as a sport 2 years ago, I never dreamt in a million years that I would ever get to the level that I am now competing. Unfortunately, Sport Scotland no longer helps to fund athletes competing at any level, never mind International! This is a struggle we, as athletes continue to fight!

In the meantime, having recently competed at Scottish Classics Championships, attaining 3 pBs, and 3 new Scottish Junior Records in my sport, andI have been selected to attend the Commonwealth Championships in South Africa, in September this year. This is a self funded trip.

To travel across the world, to represent my country is not only a great honour but an achievement and opportunity that I do not want to pass up. So...in order to make my dreams a reality, I need to get off my butt and fundraise to get there!

Sponsorship would be fantastic, but very hard to come by, So instead I will organise some events and at the request of many friends, I have set this page up to allow anyone who wishes to contribute to my cause, to donate a small gesture of support along the way. No matter how small, it will every much appreciated.

I do not expect something for nothing, and any support given through this page or otherwise, will be acknowledged in due course.
