Unfortunately at the end of last year my 15 year old son started having seizures (a very bad one on Christmas Day). He was diagnosed at the beginning of this year as having Epilepsy. Luckily, and hopefully it will stay this way with the help of medication he has not had a seizure since the beginning of January.
A group of amazing people 2 of which have lost their children to Epilepsy have came up with a great idea to hold a show jumping show which all profits will go to Epilepsy at Morris Equestrian on Sunday 5th June 2016.
As most people know I ride most days and have 2 amazing horses. One of these horse Ollie and I used to compete show jumping on a regular basis but are now pure dressage divas! We haven't competed in a show jumping competition since 2011 and I regularly get asked if I would ever return to jumping!!!! Well when I seen this show advertised I thought I have to take part and support. Considering we have barely jumped a jump in 5 years and Ollie is much more rounded in his dressage build this will be not quite plain sailing!!!
I thought this is the perfect opportunity to go back jumping one last time and raise money for something that means a lot at the same time.
So if I can raise £250 (or more) which I will present to show organisers on the day then I will take part and go through the start and hopefully complete and go through the finish!!!!!
Any donations are appreciated and I will post video evidence on facebook even if I fall off at the first fence!!!!
