I've raised £500 to provide support for Scarlett Foggin and her family. Scarlett is 12yrs old and has been diagnosed with Osteosarcoma.

Scarlett had a stumble during a dance performance at school and needed an X-ray and then an MRI where a fracture in her femur was found along with a 9cm tumour, Scarlett has Osteosarcoma.
Since diagnosis at the end of March Scarlett has spent time in Whiston Hospital, Royal Orthopaedic Hospital Birmingham and is now going to Alder Hey where she started combined Chemotherapy at the end of April.
Scarlett will continue to have chemotherapy until she has to go back to Birmingham for major surgery in July. Chemotherapy will resume afterwards for a further 3-4months.
The shock of this diagnosis to a normally fit, active and healthy girl who is a member of her local Scout group, school dance club and netball team has knocked her family and friends sideways.
The irony of this diagnosis is that in November Scarlett did a 'sponsored hair chop' and raised £811 for Cancer Research UK and donated her chopped hair to The Little Princess Trust, who make wigs for children who have lost their hair.
The financial implications for the family are immense, as well as the prospects of reduced income.
The aim of this page is to help the family while Scarlett undergoes treatment, surgery and rehabilitation over the next 9-12months. Any remaining funds will be donated to the charities that are helping Scarlett get through this.
