I'm raising £600 to support three causes in memory of our mum/nanny, Eileen Rose Frost.

Mum spent her life loving and caring for others. She was there for anyone who needed her and always had enough love to go round.
For many years mum worked with and cared for children with physical and learning disabilities. She brought them into her heart as if they were her own, devoting so much of her time and energy to those in her care showing kindness, love and support, not only to the children, but also their families.
It is because of mum's passion for caring along with her love of gardening that we would like to share any money raised between these three charities:
MUDLARKS GARDEN
This is a Hertford based charity which supports adults and young people with learning disabilities and mental health concerns. Through supported learning and meaningful work in the community, Mudlark’s projects, which includes an allotment and café, help people build confidence, self-worth and develop important skills which leads to more fulfilling lives.
We feel this charity is perfect as it combines two of mum’s passions….supporting people with learning difficulties and gardening.

DOWN SYNDROME RESOURCE FOUNDATION (DSRF)
Jeannie lives in Canada with her daughter, Emma, who has Down Syndrome. Since the age of two, Emma has benefitted from services at DSRF, including occupational and speech therapy as well as maths and reading lessons. Emma has been fortunate to receive multiple bursaries from DSRF enabling her to access these valuable sessions.
Mum, Jeannie and Emma have participated in the annual fun run event which raises money to support families with individuals with Down Syndrome, helping them access services, resources and educational programmes so that each person can thrive and reach their full potential. It therefore seems fitting that we continue to support this organisation in mum’s memory, as they continue to support Emma.
NAOMI HOUSE & JACKSPLACE HOSPICES
Naomi House and Jacksplace provide expert hospice care to life limited and life threatened children and young adults from across central southern England.
When a child or young adult is diagnosed with a life limiting condition, Naomi House & Jacksplace becomes their home from home. Their nursing, care, play and family support teams are experts in delivering crucial emotional, spiritual, developmental, clinical and holistic care. They offer vital respite support, giving families the chance to recharge their batteries and regroup in a calm, fun and welcoming environment. In times of emergency they are there, giving families the help they need through difficult times. And at the end of a child or young adult's life, they pull out all the stops to give them a peaceful and dignified end, surrounded by loved ones.

We would like to thank you for any donations made in mum’s name and hope you agree that she would be pleased to know that funds raised in her memory will be supporting these worthy causes.
With love
