I am crowdfunding of behalf of small family business abroad.

HOW IT STARTED: The small business was opened more than 15 years ago, to provide jobs for the immediate family in a country with very high unemployment rate and zero welfare. Some of the workers go to college at night and need their wages not only to pay for their studies but also to put food on their family's table. Some of them are the only providers in the family.

WHAT WENT WRONG: Due to the long recession, sales and profits have been consistently low; therefore, the small business has not been able to replace infrastructure needed to continue working, same as have accumulated some debtors, the utility company among them.

WHY IS IT AN EMERGENCY: Now the sales are slightly starting to improve but the small shop cannot move forward without some extra money. A long term loan from the bank was granted at the beginning of the recession but with current circumstances the business is not able to refinance it. With some cash now and a fresh start, the small shop can keep on providing the diligent service to its customers and keep its good will in the market. With some help the business will be able to get on its feet again and face the fierce competition from the big supermarkets . All of the staff are hard working and honest people and will do their best to fight hard back with determination to keep the shop opened.

HOW WOULD YOUR KIND CONTRIBUTION HELP: The much needed help will be used initially to pay the debts the business has with the wholesale providers, to pay the utility bills , to make sure electricity, phone and water is running, to buy at least two motorbikes needed to deliver the goods to customers, and to replace an old freezer/refrigerator. But most importantly, being able to keep in operation, your contribution makes it possible for the business to remain opened and avoid sending 12 families to starvation and will give some young adults the possibility of financing their studies while providing for their families.
