Wakefield lost an absolute legend recently. Neil “Clink” Clarkson was the heart and soul of our city's music scene. From Audiozone Studios to the endless bands and musicians he cheered on and gave a start to, Clink left an undeniable mark on all of us.

To honour his incredible legacy, we are raising funds to commission a permanent, public painted tribute mural right here in Wakefield. We want to create a beautiful piece of street art where everyone can come to remember him and celebrate the massive impact he had on Wakefield’s culture.

Clinks family are very touched by this project and are in full support.
