As someone who was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2023, I had my treatment at the QEH and will continue to be treated by the Breast Care Unit for the next 5 years, I am running in the Sandringham Half Marathon on 16 June 2024 in support of the Breast of Friends Charity Fund raisers, they are a group of local people who fund raise for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Breast Care and Chemotherapy Unit, they organise a Charity Ball every year as part of their fund raising activities, they also run a race night and other activities throughout the year to fund raise, there are other members of the group who are undertaking individual activities to fund raise as well this year.
