Christmas eve of 1995. I will never forget, My Parents decided to separate, My dad left us for another woman, I was only about 9 years old that time. I have 3 other siblings aged 12,11 and 5 that time. They have tried to sort things out for our sake but hasnt worked out as we expected. We got ao affected with the situation that my Mom had to go on a few visits to the school’s guidance councilor. Years passed and have never spoken to him like a dad. He has missed graduations and heartbreaks. Now fast forward in time, a little reunion has happened few days ago, we found out that he is in hospital to have an Heart Bypass. With humbled hearts we visited him in the hospital without him knowing we were going there. We have forgiven him a long time ago but not until this moment that we have spoken to him that we really felt that we have forgiven him. God has his ways of showing us his love, it may have taken 24 years for us to completely heal but it is happening.
