Story

Back in November 2020, I did a fundraising during a lockdown to support The Evelyn Community Food Store, a constituted social supermarket serving SE London people in our local area, ahead of the tough winter months during the pandemic. Big thank you to those supported it then!

The Evelyn Community Store is in need of more funds again. They have seen such a growing demand for food in the past months. It's sad to hear that people in our local area are really struggling. The money raised for the Store will go towards food top up‘s and Christmas hampers. The Community Store support people from all walks of life in SE London. We hope the money raised can help people in the yet again challenging winter months to come.

This time I've recruited our child Karina to do something for the fundraising. She agreed to draw a nice picture every day in November as her fundraising effort. Recently she got a book about Marcus Rashford, and she admires his hard work to fight food poverty. We're just trying to do our little bit to help. Karina has started her first drawing of the month by asking for donations to support The Evelyn Community Store (see picture above). Please give any amount if you can, thank you! :)

We will update this page, and her drawings will be posted on Instagram
