    Story

Please help the Khoza’s buy a car!

Our family are privileged to be serving at LIV-Village in Durban, South Africa.

LIV is here to raise the next generations of leaders in Sout Africa. LIV-Village is a place for orphaned and vulnerable children to come into a family environment with a trained foster mother to love them, a school to educate them, and a place for their physical needs to be met. You can learn more about LIV here on our website - www.liv-village.com

I (Karina) serve this vision by taking care of the volunteers who come to stay with us, and who attribute a great deal to the day to day running of LIV. I also help lead the LIV4Change discipleship school based here at LIV-Village. My husband Lindani is a sports coordinator and he coaches a range of different sport within our LIV School. Amongst other things we are also both a part of supporting LIV-Village with their day to day needs, and different programs for the children. We have two gorgeous children – Lwandle who is 7 and our new baby girl Alwande-Rose who is 6 months old.

My husband and I receive a small wage from LIV that covers some of our weekly costs, but we have a real need to raise some of our own support to supplement this wage, so that we can stay serving in this incredible ministry for as long as required.

Our most current financial need is to purchase a reliable vehicle. As where LIV-Village is situated, is at least 20 minutes from supermarkets, banks, and hospitals etc, and unfortunately public transport and taxi’s here are neither reliable nor very safe to use. We’ve been relying on the generosity of friends to lend us their cars, but this is not a long-term solution.

Reliable and safe vehicles are expensive in South Africa, so the amount we are trying to raise is the minimum we need for something suitable, that won’t cost too much in ongoing maintanance.

Even the smallest donation would be amazing and will bless us so much.

    Much love, Karina and Lindani.
