With winter coming the challenges the sanctuary are going to face are only getting worse, at the moment its a constant challenge just to go one day to the next with all the feeding and vets visits and cleaning, but for Carmen helping these dogs in Romania is a personal challenge that comes with so much reward and joy - but that doesn't mean its easy, its self-sacrificing. I want to do what I can to help her, she's on the front line dealing with the reality of the hardships these pups face and if a little financial support from us can make a difference, wouldn't you like to help?

I have 2 wonderful dogs at home, to me they complete our family and there's so much love between us. But the reality is they are some of the lucky ones, they always have 2 meals a day, they have a comfy bed each and baskets full of toys to play with. Its not like that for many of these stray and abandoned dogs. But the smallest donation can make the biggest difference.

Currently Carmen is alone with over 50 dogs and some cats and kittens and it is getting harder to manage everything. She would like to be more present on Facebook to raise awareness of her cause but time is so limited and the dogs need all her attention, time and energy - so this is me doing just a small thing to help.

Next week 10 puppies will need their last vaccine. 4 were found in the forest by a local man living in the hospice in the village! He came to Carmen's gate happy that he rescued them and dumped them in her lap. The other 6 were brought in a wicker basket with the usual threat : take them or we dump them in the forest! They were two ''requests'' she could not say ''no'' to! The puppies have made it this far with all the care and attention Carmen can give them, even when she had parvo virus in the yard they survived and had all their other vaccines with no problems.

However - money is very quickly running out. Any donation large or small will help save an innocent puppies life
