HOW?  A 5 DAY LEADERSHIP EXCHANGE - THE CHANCE FOR CAREER EXPLORATION & CULTURAL EXCHANGE

Karismatic Minds are taking a group Inner London teenage girls to New York for a Creative & Cultural Exchange. "Expose them to difference & re-shape their reality" merge this with real life experience and you have an empowered generation of social change agents, shifting the economic landscape. This Leadership & Development opportunity will allow 8 girls, aged 13-18 years old to form international partnerships, share through lived experience, diversify cultural intelligence & most importantly provide a gateway for future career aspirations.

Activities/Events will include: *Career Exploration *Female Empowerment *Charity Work in deprived communities *Cultural Exploration

WHO ARE THEY: 13-18 year old Female Inner city London teenagers living in marginalised communities in Lambeth. Some of the girls we support and who will benefit from your contribution have A star academic capabilities however exhibt low levels of resilience & high anxiety. Whilst low self esteem is a common issue amongst young people and adults alike, these young women continue to demonstrate their desire to push boundaries for change, a change of environment, a change in perspective and a real chance to fulfil their greatest potential in life.

This programme goes one step further with real life exposure building on our work with 4all Charity Building Communities providing weekly interventions for teenage girls in and around the South West London area.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION: Donations will help to cover the cost of flights to New York & accommodation for 8 girls aged 13-18 years old. The total to send each girl for this programme will cost £900 and we have/will be doing additional fundraising events to cover food & daily travel in the city.
