i am trying to raise money for myself , to enable me to get back into full time empoyment, i have spent the last 6 years caring for my elderly mother who has sadly now passed on , i am 57 years of age and only have probably 10 working years left in me , i want to spend those years back in gainful employment as i have know pension fund to fall back on or any savings left , i desperatly need to get back on my feet , to do this i need a few things including work boots/shoes , proper ppe clothing and a means of transport i.e a small motor scooter and accessiories i.e helmet etc , unfortunatly the dwp does not give any help with these items so i am at a crossroads of how to raise the money , hence my appeal on here , the reason i need my own transport is because of the work market around this area is mainly on large ind estates out of town and unfortunatly the local transport is not always reliable on there destination times going to work or coming back especially weekends , i have tried to be realistic about the support i need ans try not to ask for more than i actually need , i appreciate i may not get much support for this but would be grateful for any i recieve , just to allow me to get back into full time employment for the years i have left to do so , i do not want to be stuck on benefits for the rest of my days , so if anyone would like to help thank you so so much
