Story

Darren who is now 35 was born with Cerebral Palsy, and throughout his life is dependant on a wheelchair, he also has Epilepsy, along with dislocated hips, so as you can only imagine unless you are also in one the wheelchair plays a major role within this young mans life. The wheelchair promotes Darren independence and enables mum and dad to take Darren out within the community as a young child and throughout life he is dependent on my Mum and dad to provide him with the extra love and care that someone in his condition would need at a very high level, with constant attention to ensure his health care was at the highest standard. This with out question has always been maintained by Mum and Dad to this very day, and I know it was not easy but they never complained and along with the NHS professional medical staff Darren needs have always been met where and as needed.
Sadly the NHS cannot provide Darren with the chair he now requires to care for his health needs and he has been informed he would best be suited to purchase the TILT-IN-SPACE wheelchair to ensure his mobility and health care needs are maintained with the adaptions and qualities the new wheelchair - back rest recline, seat evaluation- tilt in space has.
Yes its expensive and mum and dad cant afford to buy Darren this wheelchair which they know would support him at this next stage of his adult life.
As a family we would love to see Darren maintain a good quality of life, My main reason for fundraising for this particular wheelchair which has the special adaptions he requires..
So may I thank you very much in anticipation of any donations we receive from you, and if and when we receive the total amount I will be very pleased to send you all the pictures I will take of Darren in his New wheelchair, and you will see from the big smile he always has just how much it will mean to him.
A very big thank you to you all.

PS my mum and dad have raised four boys and shown us how to love everyone.
